Crazy Camping Madness...

So, we took the kids camping...sounds easy, right?

Well, it REALLY began with Joe becoming carsick (3x) on the way to Plymouth (enter surprised face here) - Well, it began with a RAIN OUT the first night we were supposed to be there. Oh, and we also decided to go with 2 other Moms, friends of ours, and their kids...so it was only 12 of us...4 adults, 8 kids ages 7-14. For those (guys) of you not counting, let me spell it out this way Chris (my Chris, cuz we had 2 Christian's) went camping with 3 Women, 3 teenage girls, 2 teenage boys and his sons. TALK about trying to earn some sort of Merit Badge or something!? We call him St Christian when he does that crap. Good sport...Poor bastard. Good thing we all admit that I'm actually a pretty good camper, as wives tend to go. ;o)

By Sunday, Jen and Christine went on a coffee journey, so I let the kids make "war paint" with the remaining ash from the fire the night before and crush and mix it with water...I let them paint themselves any way they wanted. The girls were "cutesy". The boys, well, a little more creative. Christian did his entire body. Bryan let them do a Bikini top, and strutted his stuff, flipping his hair all the way on the long walk to the lake, getting whistled at all-the-way by campers with senses of humor (NOTE: Not all campers remembered to pack a sense of humor...and to camp near us, it is HIGHLY recommended.)

Maddie and the girls

Can't hang with this many kids and not play Chicken, right?
Stunting...a very lucrative skill...while we spent the first hour being pointed at and stared at, by the end we had set a trend and everyone in the lake was doing it too. None as well as this girl, tho...
